Our Mission

The Cuban Genealogy Club of Miami Florida, Inc. seeks to foster an interest in the preservation of records and testimonies that document Cuban family history. Our club benefits from being at the center of a rich and vibrant Cuban community that, despite the distances imposed by time, language, and geography, has in many ways, become the guardian of our rich patrimony.

About Us

The Cuban Genealogy Club of Miami, Florida, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit designated organization founded in February of 2001.
The club is the result of a shared desire for family historians, with a particular interest in Cuba, to convene regularly in order to further their knowledge and share information.

Please note that we do not perform genealogical research in Cuba, and we are not able to recommend a researcher there. We cannot access your vital records in Cuba.

We have over 3,000 PDFs on our site, not including the many links to online books and other resources.

Membership

You DO NOT need to be a member to access MANY of the resources on our site! Most of our databases are available to you without needing to become a member! Membership will entitle you to attend our monthly meetings, view our past meetings and presentations archive, and access any premium content noted on our web pages.

We are NOT an Ancestry-type site and as such we do not have access to all vital records in Cuba.

CGC Meetings

Our regular member-only meetings are designed to exchange findings, questions, ideas, and new sources of information.
