Your membership helps us maintain the site. It allows access to our Zoom meetings and presentations. Your membership will also allow access to the Members Only Area that has recordings of previous meetings and genealogical presentations, as well as any Premium Content noted throughout our website.
Fair Use of Copyrighted Material
Fair use is the right to use a copyrighted work under certain conditions without permission of the copyright owner. It allows one to use and build upon prior works in a manner that does not unfairly deprive prior copyright owners of the right to control and benefit from their works.
Under the fair use doctrine of the U.S. copyright statute, it is permissible to use limited portions of a work including quotes, for purposes such as commentary, news reporting, and personal reports.
The use of the information on this site for commercial, political, or any other purpose other than research of your family history and genealogy is strictly forbidden. Any violation will be considered a serious offense and will have consequences.
No! Our databases are the result of generous donations by members or other authorities and countless number of hours spent in transcribing many of the files. We do not have special access to repositories in Cuba or Spain.
